Today I'm showing you a fabulous set of sea-inspired fabrics I bought from The Oz Material Girls last year sometime. The range is called Gems of the Sea, by Janet Broxton for P&B Textiles. I bought a half-metre of each print.
My parents in law live in Burrill Lake on the south coast of New South Wales; the lake is across the road from their house and the beach is two minutes' walk away. It's my favourite place in the world. MIL loves sea horses and she also loves quilting. She has used the bottom right print in a children's quilt and so when I was this range I thought immediately of her. I love that when we stay with her, there are quilts for every bed and couch in the house. So, this part of my stash is going to be used as a gift for her, using this pattern I found on Craftsy. I wanted a pattern that had large pieces which would show off the print and I think I've found just the thing!
I'm linking up with Molli Sparkles' Sunday Stash.
Happy quilting 🙂
