'Tis the season for those of us in bloggy land to write about our quilting goals for the year. Being a quilty blogger, I thought that I would write a quick little post about some fun projects/ideas that are happening that I think will be useful in keeping me accountable with my sewing goals this year.
Deborah at Whipstitch has set up a #2015SewingList. I love this idea! It's a 'bucket list' designed to get you out of your comfort zone. To that end I have decided that 2015 is the year I finally learn foundation piecing.
Leasa over at Project: Leasa has set up the #SewMyStash2015 hash tag on Instagram and it's taken off! This is another project I'm going to run with - you commit to using your stash of fabric (and in my case patterns) for projects this year before going out and buying new fabric.
In order to work on these, I'm starting by taking stock of my WIPs. I love these great printables available at From Pixels to Patchwork. They are great for anal quilters like me to find out where I'm up to with my current projects and what I have to do to get them finished.
I've got a couple of other projects up my sleeve but that's enough for now.
What about you; what are your sewing goals for ? I'd love to hear what you would like to do and how you keep up with your WIPs.
